There is a particularly popular restaurant [Izasa] near Todaiji Temple in Nara. The very Japanese set meal steamed sushi and various tempura set meals are the specialties here. We each ordered one set of persimmon leaf sushi. This was the first time we tasted it. It’s a very delicious and unique shop. If you like it, you can also buy souvenirs from the store on the first floor. It’s very special and not expensive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good. It faces the Nara Museum of Art on one side and you can see a beautiful scenery on the other side to the east. The temple is all made of tatami mats, which are really comfortable. No wonder everyone is standing in line at the stairs and willing to come.
